Starting from 2025-01-01, registration is mandatory according to Lithuanian law – before using any prepaid services from any operator, you need to verify your identity. So, this applies to LABAS too.

If you're currently using LABAS services, you will not need to register the SIM card you are using.

• LABAS services will be activated and you can use them only after verifying your identity.  
• Registration is mandatory for all inactive cards starting from 2025-01-01, even if the card was purchased earlier.  
• Cards activated before 2025-01-01 will work without registration.  
• To use LABAS services, you need to register a new SIM/eSIM card within 90 days of inserting it into your device. Otherwise, you won't be able to activate the services and the money won't be refunded.  
• You'll get the instructions on how to verify your identity via SMS or by calling 1550.  
• You will be able to verify your identity yourself if you are 14 or older. If you're younger, your parents or other legal representatives will be able to register the number in their name.  
• You will be able to register online at register.labas.lt or at any BITĖ outlet (https://www.bite.lt/salonai).  
• If you're going to a BITĖ outlet to verify your identity, don't forget your ID.

When registering online, depending on whether you have a Lithuanian personal code, you can verify your identity in several ways – using Smart-ID, Mobile-ID, through internet banking, or by biometrics (you'll need to take photos of your face and your ID and upload them to the registration form).  

When registering at a BITĖ outlet, you can activate the card only by presenting an ID to the salon staff.
